Common questions

Before your visit.

If your concern is not covered here, call or message the clinic and the team will guide you.

What should I bring to my first consultation?

Please bring any recent breast imaging, reports, pathology results, previous operation notes and a current medication list. Older imaging can be useful for comparison.

Does every breast lump need surgery?

No. The appropriate next step depends on the clinical examination, imaging and—when required—biopsy. Many benign findings can be safely monitored.

Can I discuss reconstruction at the same visit?

Yes. When breast cancer surgery is being considered, reconstructive and oncoplastic options can be discussed as part of the surgical plan.

Can a family member attend with me?

Yes. You are welcome to bring a trusted person, particularly when discussing investigations or treatment choices.
